SUMMER 19
A season of struggle for the homies and I. We dealt with the loss of life, love, and employment.
This isn’t a “went through it but I’m alright” write up. Rather, this is an acknowledgement of the inner conflict that everyone goes through. Life is unfair & it sucks and it might be that way for a while. Instead of putting up a façade, the best option is to soak up all the struggles, all the emotions, and learn to live with it.
If I learned anything this summer, it’s that I truly do not give a fuck anymore. No more holding back so it’s more palatable for other people/ social media. My photographs come from a genuine place of both happiness and pain. I don’t care if it doesn’t get likes, I don’t care if no one appreciates it. I do and that’s all that matters.
Here’s how my summer went, the good, the sad, the ugly.
